27 Atlanta-based Girlbosses You Can Support this Small Biz Saturday

So in case you didn't know, Small Business Saturday is November 28 and its a celebration of all the hard-working small business owners around the world as well as a call to get out and support them. There are soooooo many female business owners and solopreneurs around Atlanta that are just so amazing at what they do. If you're looking for a reason to buy...anything....either for a holiday gift, a little self care or a tasty treat, here are 27 Atlanta women you should look to this Small Business Saturday!

One of my favorite foodies, and founder of Eat Here ATL, Morgan Ashley is currently slinging #EatHereATL t-shirts and you should get one. If you really do love food as much as I think you do, grab one to show your support for good food and a local girlboss making major waves.

Rachael Riedinger makes the most beautiful bags. I mean, truly stunning. When I grab that rose gold Neva Opet clutch nobody will be able to tell me anything. Really. Now I’m all for getting people gifts, but this may be one splurge you keep for yourself. Shop Neva Opet online or at a market near you.

Hodgepodge Coffeehouse is a place near and dear to my heart and a lot of other people in East Atlanta/Ormewood. Hodgepodge is owned and operated by boss ladies/moms/unicorns Lynne Tanzer and Krystle McNeill Rodriquez and they serve the absolute best lattes and blueberry crumble. If you ever needed a reason to shop local, they would be two good ones.

New mommy Courtney Hamill has her hands full these days, and although this Atlanta native is not selling her precious baby, you can grab the next best thing: some of her amazing ceramics from her company Honeycomb Studio. And where would you find some of her glorious products? You can visit her website, or pop into West Elm at Ponce City Market or the new Citizen Supply store, also at Ponce City Market.

Whenever a bride books with me, I love popping a Native Bear journal in her wedding welcome box of goodies. Leela Hoehn Robinson creates some of the most beautiful designs that she incorporates into stamps, notebooks, notecards, towels, and bagssssss. Oh the bags. Her studio is located inside ICE over on McClendon but she’s typically slinging her designs all over town.

Speaking of ICE, I hope a lot of you (if you are not already one of the vendors) are able attend the Indie Craft Experience Holiday Market November 21-22. I have tons of friends vending at this fabulous market run by Atlanta natives Shannon Mulkey and Christy Petterson, and although it's a week before Small Biz Saturday, its still small shopping and at its best none the less! So go, buy all the things!

If you need a coffee fix while you shop, Henry and June in Virginia Highland would be the best place to do that. Owner Camryn Wright-Chambers (along with her hubby Jim) run a boutiquer’s paradise. Henry and June always offer a mix of local designers + they stock Ashley Sue’s Baked Goods (see below), so stopping by will literally triple your small shopping power. So you’d basically be a #smallbizsat super hero once you leave.

If ever you needed soap or lip balm, you should start with Revive Bath and Body. Way more amazing than anything you will find at Target guys. Revive is at like every boutique across Atlanta, and all of their products smell so, so good! Revive products also come with a message. Owner Caitlin Abshier works to bring awareness to sex trafficking through her partnership with Haven ATL, so on #SmallBizSat, this is a great way to support small businesses doing big things.

Need advice on running a business? Finances? Quitting your corporate job? Want to make friends with other women in the same boat? Ladypreneur League is an Atlanta-based organization for female entrepreneurs doing the damn thing and is a great support group for women everywhere. Founder + Web Designer Porsha Thomas is passionate about helping women flourish in business, and a membership to Ladypreneur League is a great way to shop small and invest in yourself at the same time.

Bryanna Simpson, owner of Be Good shop makes the cutest jewelry y'all. I personally own one of her rings and a necklace, and with its distinct design, Atlantans can tell its from Be Good from a mile away. Do yourself a favor and get you some Be Good jewelry.

The deli babes over at Candler Park Market make some of the best sandwiches and drinks you will ever taste. This is not a drill. This Small Biz Saturday stop in and see whats on the menu, and say hey to Robin, she just got married so you can also call her Mrs. Santos..heee!

Speaking of deli babes, when Ashley Sue Thaxton isn't at CPM she's slinging her very own baked goods all over Atlanta. 3 Parks Wine is totally run by a girlboss yall. Sarah Pierre and her passion for her business is unmatched, so she is definitely worthy of a little #SmallBizSat support. 3 Parks Wine offers tastings every Wednesday also, so you can get your drink on and then buy a bottle for your friends. Wine is always the perfect gift as we all know. They have 3 locations to get your wine fix. I love the one in Glenwood Park.

Ashley Coleman and Jocelyn Taylor, the fabulous couple behind Browned Butter Vintage, curate some of the best vintage finds in the city. Artistic consultants Toni Williams and Marcella Campbell-Samuel are the brains behind Cultivating Cultures. Cultivating Cultures curates events that promote art, diversity and of course, community. Events include large art shows, music artist showcases, yoga sessions, social gatherings and more. Get to know them. Every Saturday is #SmallBizSat for them, they have a new event almost every week.

Wax Studio and award-winning Buff Nail Bar is owned and operated by Myka Harris Barbato, one of the sweetest boss ladies I know. You may not see her on Small Biz Saturday because she may be at home with her beautiful new baby boy, but you should stop by anyway. They weren’t awarded Atlanta Magazine’s Best Nail Salon of 2015 for no reason.

If you need to get your spirit right, Boholistic Bodywork is the perfect place to do it. Located in East Atlanta, owner Ashley Bohanon offers thai yoga massages (!) and yoga classes at Candler Park Yoga. She even offers kids yoga as well. Take care of yourself or someone else by shopping small with Ashley.

Every time someone mentions Yo Soy Candle I swear…. I love these candles. They smell incredible and they have a great purpose behind them. And they burn up to 50 hours. 50 hours. Can glade do that? Um no. Tipple and Rose Tea Room and Apothecary is my new favorite tea room. Not just because I can walk to it from my house but also because it is female-owned and operated and fabulous. Calavino Donati and Doria Roberts offer over 100 different choices at their new tea room and the apothecary is loaded with goodies that make it hard to leave without grabbing a few, including Revive Bath and Body products  And after you’re done visiting Tipple and Rose in Virginia Highland, stop by one of the couples other eateries: Urban Cannibals Bodega + Bites (Midtown) and Madre + Mason (Piedmont Park area).

Susannah Leigh Caviness does a lot. When she's not printing up a storm with Mindzai Creative, she's working on a new product for her needlework line, Eleventh House Needlework and Wares. And this is not your mamas stitching. Find her stuff at Hodgepodge Coffeehouse, her etsy page or a pop-up shop around town.

Vintage clothing for the gypsy soul. Electric Revival Vintage has fire vintage pieces curated by owner Erica Campbell Hawkins, that I covet on a daily. These are just a handful of amazing women making their mark here in Atlanta! I stopped at 27 because its my birthday number which means its the best number, but I do urge you to get out there and support as many Atlanta female business owners as you can on #SmallBizSat and throughout the entire year.
