atlanta lifestyle photographer | girlboss branding session | Deonne McNeill

So in case you haven't heard, I signed my first studio/office space lease a few weeks ago and am officially a resident of the Goat Farm Arts Center, coveted playground for Atlanta artists, photographers, creatives, and makers. I wanted my first session (as a resident) to be badass, so I suggested to my friend Deonne that her session (booked BF) be there. It stopped raining just before we headed out there, but we wouldve shot in the rain anyway and still made magic because Deonne is a magical gypster with hella style.

She's a designer, seamstress, fabric connoisseur and budding #girlboss who recently started her very own company, Jime Janelle. For her shoot she chose to feature some of her pieces (she made the poncho and skirt and altered the shirt). Her website should be up by January (her birthday month, which makes this a perfect goal month for her). I dont even know when we took half these pictures because we were laughing so much. Life. I love how my girlboss sessions are always a chance for all parties involved to let off steam, exchange advice, motivate and inspire each other to keep being badass. Fun is always had when Deonne is nearby. You'll see her more than once on my website I'm sure, she's just too fabulous! #supportyourlocalgirlgang
