Now lets be honest, when people are giving you thousands of dollars and a whole lotta trust, educating yourself over winging it is always gonna be the better option. Here, you get the chance to learn how wedding photography really works (before, during and after the actual wedding day) so you can get the wedding photography ball rolling faster and more professionally. So for all my boss beginners, I will show you my ENTIRE wedding photography process, from the time a potential wedding client contacts me to sending off their gorge wedding photos, and EVERYTHING in between! You can book all the classes together at a discount, or just the ones you need to know the most about. The choice is yours!

And yes, this is an investment but I'm giving you my time and my entire knowledge base, stuff I had to learn all on my own, y'all! So yes it's gonna cost ya a little but it will be well worth it. If this is what you want to do, and you want to do it well, don't half ass it.

Wedding Series Mentor Session 2: During the Wedding

I think visual + hands on learning is probably the best way to absorb what all goes into a wedding day and what you should do to rock it from beginning to end. With this class I will teach you exactly how i approach a wedding or elopement day while I shoot a real wedding! I will walk you through everything I do behind the scenes including:

how to handle a wedding day couple + their family

how to get the images you want + images they want

 how to get the best ceremony shots

best ways to shoot a wedding solo

how to stay 5 steps ahead of everyone so you never miss a shot

how to handle low lighting

how to work that damn speedlight

and more!

Bonus! You will be able to take a few photos for your portfolio to help you with booking your first wedding client!

Wedding Series Mentor Session 3: After the Wedding

Although people tend to forget, of course the photographers job doesn't end with the wedding. During this class, we'll discuss:

post processing/editing timeline

blogging and why you should do it

 delivering images to your clients

leveraging your images to get that next referral

and more!

Wedding Series Mentor Session 4:
Live wedding coaching

Booking your first wedding (your first "i found you on google" client, not like your cousin or co-worker...) can be super nerve-wracking! But not so much when you have a coach cheering you on in the background :) And with this class, that would be me! Once you've booked your first real wedding, feel free to have me come along (based on my availability!). 

As your Coach, I will both watch you work (in order to give you feedback later) and also provide assistance whenever you need it!

The best way to learn is through real life experience, so this is the perfect training day to the beginning of the rest of your wedding photography career!

Time: 8 Hour Wedding Day Assistance + one-hour day-after feedback meeting

Q// How do I book a mentor session with you?
Find a spot on my schedule, submit your payment. Boom. Booked.

Q// How do I prep for my mentor session?
Any forms that I send over, please be sure to fill those out and submit before your session so that I can prepare for you on my end. Most sessions will require a laptop, notebook, and camera.

Q// What if I have to cancel or reschedule my session after I've paid for it?
Once paid, deposits are non-refundable. Sessions may only be re-scheduled by you ONE time (and within 1 month, based on availability) at no additional cost. Anything outside this parameter will require a new deposit.

For sessions in which I have to make travel plans for, you would be responsible for accommodating a new travel fee should the changes I have to make cost more than the original fee.

Do your best not to reschedule your session once booked, especially if its a live shoot that involves models volunteering their time.

Q// How much is your travel fee?
Online mentor sessions do not require a travel fee. For in-person mentor sessions, travel fee is based on location and will cover flight, ground transportation and lodging.

Q// Do I get the copyrights to the images I take during our live photo shoot or wedding session?
Whatever photos you take on your camera are owned by you. Your associate photography agreement will explain how and when you may post any images taken.

Q// Do I get the copyrights to the images you take during our live photo shoot or wedding session?
Whatever photos I take on my camera (including live wedding mentor sessions) are owned by me.

Q// Will I be responsible for booking my own models for my live mentor portrait session?
If you have someone in mind you would like to use, feel free to contact them. Otherwise, I will provide the models for your live mentor portrait session.

Q// Can I bring another photographer with me to my one-on-one mentor session or live mentor portrait session?
Only the person who has paid may come to the session. If you would like to invite someone, they will need to provide their own payment in advance. If you would like a custom group rate, please let me know.
