Megan and Jeff | Carondelet House | Los Angeles Wedding Photographer

My last wedding of 2018 was the best. We laughed all day and danced all night (half of which was on a rooftop, i mean…how else do you keep warm?) I couldn’t ask for a better way to end my amazing year than with Megan and Jeff at Carondelet House. This was definitely a party you wish you had an invite to.

from megan:

A romantic, minimalist, winter wedding. Mostly greenery and wintery neutrals with a touch of moody dark botanicals to tie all the darker clothing options of the bridal party together. LOTS of candle light. Simple organic greenery will climb the walls around the central mirror of our ceremony space lined with candles. As for DIY, I taught myself some modern (faux) calligraphy during this process to have a fun project that wasn't overwhelming. I hand wrote our place cards, invitation envelopes, seating chart and the welcome sign.

We purchased the welcome sign at an antique frame from the Santa Monica flea market and a mirror from a local glass store in Venice.

Our venue is just so magical. We chose it because, as soon as you walk in, it feels so grand and yet so intimate at the same time. It felt exactly how I imagined- like an elegant and cozy hug. I also loved that it took very little effort on my part to just be beautiful. The decor, furniture, the indoor outdoor flow- everything I wanted in one place.
