We had a blast in Charleston eating all the seafood and shooting all the wedding photos for Hilary and Rob. The dress was a stunna, the venue was gorge, the weather was perfect and the band kept the party going all night long. Hilary and Rob know how to wedding.

“We met in Atlanta and live in New York City but Rob's family is from Charleston so we opted to host the wedding there because the city is so gorgeous. We picked the venue for its mix of over-the-top borderline gaudy extra-ness and central outdoor space. We used to live in Thailand so we incorporated a bunch of our favorite tropical plants into the decor, and went with mostly greenery for a lush vibe. Our colors are gold and green with pops of magenta. Rob is a graphic designer so he did all our printed materials, working in a mix of palm leaves, leopards, art deco touches, and ...our cats. We are very cool.”

“Gah, Kelley and Fallon, where do I start! I guess with our engagement photos, which began with me rescheduling due to a total panic attack because of a last-minute move across the country. Kelley talked me down and we set a date for a few days before we departed. I was so stressed, couldn't find an outfit, hair falling flat, getting a free Sephora makeover about 5 minutes before we were scheduled to shoot, and then Kelley arrived, cool as a breeze, and somehow made us look AH-MAZING despite it all. Then came the wedding, and she brought her wonderful partner Fallon along, and I just can't imagine a sweeter/chiller duo to spend the day with. They made posing with our enormous wedding party and families a total breeze—even, dare I say, fun!—and stuck around all day, capturing the best detail shots, dance floor shots, emotional moments. The results were amazing, told the story of the whole day so artfully and without any of that plasticine lameness that so many wedding photos suffer from (sorry y'all but it's true). I love these two so much! Just stop reading this and hire them!!! <3”
